Do you still remember Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, Rex the Dinosaur, Hamm the Piggy Bank, and the Slinky Dog? They are the famous characters in Disney’s Toy Story film.

Despite the negative impact of the pandemic on theme parks like Disneyland, this didn’t stop Tokyo Disneyland from building an additional hotel attraction in Tokyo. The new Toy Story-themed hotel is the 5th Disney hotel in the country and is situated directly in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line. This strategic location provides guests easy access to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea Parks.

According to Tokyo Disneyland, the new hotel has 595 guest rooms and 11 floors. The hotel’s exterior, entrance, lobby, and other areas will bring to life the world of toys based on the Academy Award-winning Disney and Pixar “Toy Story” films. Isn’t that amazing to be interacting with our favorite Toy Story characters while enjoying the overall experience in the happiest place on earth?

Toy Story is an American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures in 1995. It is a story of a group of toys owned by Andy Davis who fear being replaced by Andy’s new toys on his birthday. These toys are actually living things when no human is looking. Toy Story was the highest-grossing film during its opening weekend, eventually grossing over $373 million worldwide!

It is said that this hotel is the first moderate-type hotel as the price range is in between the low-cost and high-end accommodation type.

The actual opening date has yet to be announced but it is said to be opened this year. Stay tuned for more updates from the happiest place on earth!
